Our Philosophy

How We Started
The Dressing Room is based out of Hong Kong (Business registration no. 50974859-000-08-10-8) and was started by two good friends, Jennifer and Seline, whom are Singaporeans. During our regular meet ups, we would often complain about how we are faced with the perennial pressure to look good in this fashion forward city, but found it rather difficult to find chic yet affordable dresses in the stores in HK. Hence, our common pursuit of starting an online store selling what we love and aspire to deliver – great looking dresses of fine quality at reasonable prices.
The Dressing Room’s humble roots began with long sessions of brainstorming, researching and meticulous planning out of the cafes at LKF. Frequent sourcing trips were made to numerous locations to offer you the wide selection of clothing in our online store. After six fulfilling months of hard work, we proudly present our first collection - Fall in Love with Colours on 29 Oct 2009.
